It is a "fair assumption" that Russian President Vladimir Putin was behind US election hacks, secretary of state nominee Rex Tillerson has said. The former CEO of Exxon Mobil told his Senate confirmation hearing the intelligence report on Russian tampering "clearly is troubling". His comments came after Senator Marco Rubio pressed Mr Tillerson to admit Mr Putin's role in the cyber-breach. Mr Tillerson's reported good ties with Mr Putin have alarmed some in the US. Is Porn Actually Good For Your Sex Life?

The results of a new study published in the journal Sexual Medicine indicate that …

#1 Two researchers attempted to find a correlation between sexual functioning and exposure to porn.

The researchers conducted a study with 280 male participants. About half of the men they studied were in relationships, and some of the men from the sample watched up to 25 hours of porn per week.

#2 The researchers analyzed data given by the participants, and also showed the men a video of a couple having sex.

The participants rated how turned on they were by the sex tape.

#3 Their findings:

#4 Previous studies suggest that watching too much porn desensitizes men and increases depression.

In fact, another researcher, Marieke Dewitte, concluded that the “availability of porn on the Internet has made [sex] less arousing for men.”

#5 Pfaus explains his findings through an analogy.

“Food doesn’t make you fat,” said Pfaus. Meaning, porn, like food, can be healthy in moderation.

The two researchers that co-authored this study were Jim Pfaus, a professor of psychology at Concordia University, and Nicole Prause, a research scientist at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior.
